Resources
There are two type of resources; lumber and food. Lumber is material for building while food is supplyment to upgrade your dragons. When your dragons' XP meets requirement then you can upgrade them with food. Food is also needed to upgrade lumber mill. That's all.
We can get lumber from lumber mill and food from sheep farm. Higher level means more production per hour. The fast way to get them is looting them from others. By the way if you have maximum resources in your storage, you can not get any resources as your storage is full. To encounter this incident, just transfer your resources to your teammate or spend resources to build something up.
You should upgrade your storage as soon as possible but you also need to upgrade lumber mills and sheep farm before upgrading storage because it needs a certain production rate of resources. You also need to upgrade Builder Hut which will allow you to upgrade building to higher level.
For our own good, when you have max resources, transfer some of them to your teammate before you go attacking someone!
Red Ruby
Ruby is the most valuable resources. You can buy paid-dragons which are powerful to work for you or use to in other way. I suggest to use all your rubies for unlocking roster slots first. At start, you can set only 7 active dragons to play. So, you can unlock three more slots with 100, 500 and 1000 rubies. I am not agree to use them to speed up something because you can forge speed up items.
You can earn rubies by purchasing with cash, join in event, destroying decorated stuffs when attacking opponent base such as statues and ships (always +10 rubies as random), defend base and shoot dragons down (always +1 ruby as random) and from gift as your teammate purchase a value pack.
Egg Token
Egg Token can be used for breeding dragons only. We need them as much as possible. You can earn them from daily payout, event, missions and some from gift as your teammate purchase a value pack.
Breeding Dragon
I assume that you know how to breed a dragon as tutorial shown. You need all dragons to be breedable to breed stronger dragon. Train only Legendary, Epic and rare dragons to expert but normal. Training normal will be a waste of time, just make them only breedable.
Joining Attack and Defend
Well, if you have team then you might see small green box pop up on the top of screen, 'Join Attack' or 'Defend Teammate'. If you click it you will see attacker and defender. You can join defend and get some reward by shooting enemies down. You will see a bar in top left of screen when you defend teammate's base. That is energy that you can charge to any towers. Two bar charges will activate that tower's special shot which you can see detail when you press to see tower's info.
There is a shine of water dragon in your base. It will start at 0/20 and when it is 20/20, Dominus the great power dragon (his level go up as your level go up) will service you 2 times and become 0/20 again. Whenever you defend you base or teammates', you will get 1 count for each dragon you take down. You also get an item from them. So, if you are free, just defend them to get benefit.
For joining attack, there are two type of attack; loot and war run. When it is war the box will be gold (same as defending). You can join war to make sure that your teammate get 5 flames point. For looting, if you send your dragon to base, you will get resource as sharing. Your dragon also get EXP from joining even you never fire something. Although you just join and see, you will get medals of your teammates win.
How to Level Up Your Hero Fast
You will earn EXP from building up but you might get very low EXP to build something like farm. Tower will give you more EXP as it is a weapon for you to defend your base. Total of tower value will be shown as Defend Power.
To be flank, build more higher level tower give you more EXP but they cost more time as well. Then you have to shorten them by using Speed Up items which can forge in Forge Hut. I always forge 3 Hrs Speed Up to shorten upgrade time.
Tips for Choosing Target Base
Whenever you attack high Attack Power base, you will get more EXP. Some bases have only one strong type tower. If your dragons have resist trait of that type, you can handle that base even they have more Attack Power than your normal ability.
Note : Make sure to attack the most powerful tower first!
How to Level Up Your Dragons Fast
Yeah, dragons are the main key this game and you need them to get stronger as fast as possible. The best way is having a good team and let them help.
When daily payout is paid. It means the new day has started and all dragons will get EXP bonus. When you see your dragons in active roster, you will see 5x that mean you will get EXP 5 times in next attack. If you go attacking by yourself and win by two or three dragons, that is the worst way to use daily bonus. Even you win by one dragon, you still need them healing.
Daily bonus will grant you 5x, 4x and 3x to each dragon. The max EXP you can get is depending on your level. More level will get more EXP when you do not attack the lower player.
In EXP run period, ask your teammate for help. They will use their Expert Dragons (dragon with max level) to attack and let you finish that base with your young dragon to get max EXP but you must follow the iron rule;
(1) If you will go for 4th round, just quit then.
(2) If 1st round has done at least 70% and down, just send dragon and swap. Do not suicide. 70% is victory.
(3) If your friend got only 66%-69%, try your best to get job done.
(4) If 1st round has not gone well. You have to quit before the 1st dragon down because you can not quit after that.
